The Drone Operator Prep program focuses on the safe and successful operation of drones in the real world. The emergence of drones in everyday life has captured this generation’s imagination, and remotely-piloted systems are undoubtedly the way of the future!
The program covers drone aerodynamics, design architecture, and flight training opportunities on simulators. DOP serves as an intensive FAA test prep course for students aspiring to become licensed commercial drone operators. Built around multiple customer-focused projects, the DOP program instills safe operation and best practices while also preparing them for success in drone careers. DOP students learn to operate highly capable photography drones by applying their STEM knowledge in a real-world business setting. The program opens students’ minds to new career opportunities in the U.S. and around the world.
