Drone Technology and Engineering (DTE) offers students a basic overview of aerodynamics, unmanned aircraft architecture, and drone flight dynamics. Students apply their STEM knowledge by designing, building, and testing their racing drones in small teams, emulating an aerospace engineering program from beginning to end.

During this one-of-a-kind aerospace experience, students fly Line of Sight (LOS) and First Person View (FPV) on physical drones, build racing drones, and use structured engineering decision-making to optimize their design. Student teams gather data while testing their newly built drone and compete in challenges to achieve real-world objectives
