As a result of this course, students gain knowledge about green technologies. Through the simple process of planting bell peppers and caring for them, students learn how to assess the health of the plant not only by its appearance but also using various sensors. With those sensors, students collect the data from planted peppers and use Data Science knowledge to analyze the gathered data.

The content has been designed to keep the students' interest at a higher level. We incorporated a lot of small activities throughout the course. Some of them include writing a blog, research and discussions, shield programming exercises, sowing bell peppers and monitoring its growth.

 

The program is suitable for both middle and high school students. Additionally, due to its modular capabilities, it fits into any classroom schedule.
